Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys' third album, "Black & Blue", turned out to be one of the last Cheiron productions before closing up shop. The album became a huge international success after its November 2000 release and was for example certified platinum 8x over in the U.S. alone.

In connection to the release, the Backstreet Boys went on a historical mini tour, visiting six continents in just 100 hrs! On the morning of November 18, 2000, the band left Stockholm (Sweden) for Tokyo (Japan), traveled on to Sydney (Australia) the day after, continued to Cape Town (South Africa) the following day, for a halt in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The last way station, on November 21, was New York City (U.S.) where the band again was performing and giving interviews.
A new record was produced and set.

The "Black & Blue" album, which went No.1 on the Billboard 200 Chart in December 2000, includes two songs produced by Magnusson/Kreuger;
"It's True" and "The Answer To Our Life".
But as early as in 1997, the duo produced their first Backstreet Boys song - "Missing You", exclusively released on the Japanese edition of the "Backstreet's Back" album.
