THIS WEEK'S UK #1 - LEONA LEWIS
In December 2006, Leona Lewis became the fastest selling female artist of all time with her first single.
On November 12, almost a year later, The X Factor winner's eagerly awaited debut album Spirit hit the UK record stores, only to break a new astonishing record.
By selling more than 375,000 copies in one week, Spirit is the fastest selling debut album in Britain. Landing atop of the charts, it is this week's #1.
One of the songs included on the album is "Footprints In The Sand", written by Richard Page, Per Magnusson and David Kreuger.
LAST WEEK'S UK #1 - WESTLIFE
In July 1998, a new Irish group called Westlife was formed, subsequently turning into one of the biggest brands in the music industry.
On November 5, almost nine years after their first record was released, Westlife now has issued their ninth album Back Home. Since their debut, the band amazingly has reached the UK Top Spot seven times, Back Home included, making the album last week's #1.
Working closely with Per Magnusson and David Kreuger through the years, Westlife this time turned to the duo for the production of the song "You Must Have Had a Broken Heart".
