Released on Monday 16, Paul Potts' debut album "One Chance" has stormed straight to number one at the UK charts. By selling more than 128,000 copies, the Britain's Got Talent winner outsold his nearest rival by five to one.
Used to be working in a mobile phone store in the South of Wales just weeks ago, things have changed quickly for the 36-year-old tenor. Signed by Simon Cowell after the BGT victory, Potts went directly into the music studios recording songs for his album.
Meanwhile Potts made YouTube history, as his winning performance of Puccini's "Nessun Dorma" has become one of the most watched clips ever.
With a record deal to release his debut album in 15 countries, including the US, Paul Potts on Monday found himself at number one in the UK.
A Side Productions has produced three songs on the album "One Chance":
Nessun Dorma
Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te PartirĂ²)
Nella Fantasia
