Fans worldwide have been waiting for almost three years.
Now Josh Groban is back with a new album - Awake
RELEASE DATE:
November 7
Josh Groban's meteoric rise to stardom began in 1998 when, at the age of 17, he was introduced to multi-Grammy Award-winning composer and producer David Foster. Foster immediately noticed Josh's vocal potentials and a close collaboration was initiated.
In November 2001, Groban released his self titled double-platinum debut album. Two years later, the follow-up "Closer" came out. Including a cover of the song "You Raise Me Up", produced by David Foster, the album went #1 on the Billboard Hot 200.
On Josh's upcoming third studio album "Awake - The Special Edition", exclusive material will be presented. Besides a thirty minute DVD of behind-the-scenes in Making of the Record, two bonus tracks are included.
One of these is the David Foster produced ballad "Verita", written by A Side Productions together with Richard Page and Marco Marinangeli (Italian lyrics).
The iTunes edition of "Awake" also will include "Verita". Downloads of the specific song available as well.
Facts on Richard Page:
Former lead singer and bassist of Mr Mister, Richard Page is the pen behind the two Billboard #1 smash hits "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie", released in 1985 and 1986 respectively.
In 2006, "Broken Wings" is back on the charts, included on Clay Aiken's new album which recently went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 200.
